Our next event is our annual weekend trip to Prescott, Arizona's Christmas City.

This adventure is perfect for students of all ages and is the ideal way to kick off the Christmas season.

We will meet quickly after school on Friday, December 5th, and drive north to Prescott, grabbing dinner on the way.

We've got an exciting Airbnb near downtown with a game room, hot tub, and plenty of space for our favorite games and activities (karaoke, baking cookies, Christmas crafts, hide-and-seek, and more).

Saturday, we will go to the courthouse square for the festivities. We'll grab a picnic spot for the day and watch the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade. After eating lunch at one of the many local small-town restaurants, we will allow the students to shop, play, and explore.

Once again, we are going to be setting up our large social scavenger hunt for the kids to participate in. This activity is one of our kids' favorites as it gets them going around and interacting with the local crowd and kids for rewards.

When the sun goes down, the Prescott mayor comes to the courthouse steps and reads the nativity story to the crowd before we all sing Christmas carols. The grand finale of the evening is one the kids will always remember as the town lights up the whole courthouse square with hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights.

Between Saturday and Sunday morning, we always make this Christmas Town Adventure the most "Christmassy" experience outside of Christmas itself. We have many other activities planned and very much look forward to a great time. 

We would love for your student to join us, but we also extend the invitation to any families who may want to book their own accommodations and meet us there as this event is great for the whole family.

Families who register will be sent a packing list and a detailed schedule.

We thank God for blessing our camp so much, but we love this time of year when we remember his greatest blessing of all, sending his son Jesus into this world to save us from our sins.
