A daily program hosted at Sabino to teach and practice outdoor and camping skills, social skills, and character building.
Learn and Practice skills to be self-sufficient in the outdoors:
Camping skills, best practices, hacks
Master putting up and taking down various tents and shelters
Learn sleep systems including hammocks, cots, and different types of sleeping pads and bags
Practice camp cooking and backwoods nutrition
Skills of backpacking including weight distribution, essential gear, proper clothing and more
Survival skills including shelter building, water filtration and purification, fire staring, and more
Common and useful knots
Safety and First Aid
Socialize with Friends:
Organized Activities and Lessons
Board/Card Games, Multi-player Video Games, Outside and Water Games
Team-Building and Leadership Challenges
Outdoor-themed Crafts and Activities

Other Activities:
Picture and Video Taking Techniques - Framing, Timing, Trick Photography, and Perspective
Occasional Hourly Field Trips (inquire at pick up)
3:30pm to 6:00pm (instruction and structured activities from 4pm - 5pm) Ages 8 - 16
Adventure Club will be hosted in a variety of locations from indoors to mountainous areas. Participating students will need "play clothes" and all "Adventure Essentials" daily.
