Our replacement trip for the canceled Christmas Town will be outdoor and adventure oriented.

On Friday Dec. 4th, after students get released from their individual schools, we will leave for the worlds largest drive-thru animated light show in Glendale, A.Z.. After the socially safe event, students will buy dinner and we will finish driving to our AirBnB for a relaxing night of hot chocolate and Christmas movies.

Saturday we will hike the "Flume Road Trail" to the historic fossil creek dam where we will spend the day exploring and learning about one of Arizona's most significant and scenic wild waterways. AllTrails.com has rated this trail as easy, but, our classification system has it listed as "Level 4 Intermediate" due to its distance of 9 miles round trip .

Before heading back we will attempt to hike to the local hot springs*.

Sunday we will pack up and choose a group activity before heading back to Tucson by 5:pm.

Space is extremely limited due to our AirBnB guest limits**. Anybody interested please register asap. Cost is $50 dollars and includes transportation, lodging, and four meals.

Please have students bring:

- Money for a dinner and a lunch

- Water Bottle

- Sturdy Outdoor Appropriate Shoes

- Very Warm Clothes

*Hot Springs access will need to be open and our location will need to be drug, alcohol, and hippie free in order for us to enjoy. However, our lodging has a hot tub as a plan b if students so choose.
